What to Expect:
✦ We are generally an appointment only shop!Please contact artists directly to discuss appointments.See our instagram for openings or walk-in opportunities.✦ Masks are mandatory.
Everyone is expected to wear a N95/KN95/CAN95 mask.**Exceptions include: Medical devices that obstruct the seal of the mask. In these case, a mask that fits you best it preferred.✦ This is an inclusive space.
We consider any measures we can take to keep our clients and artists healthy and comfortable.
We expect all of our artists and clients to be considerate of each other.✦ Please have a seat in the waiting area when you arrive to complete your consent form.✦ You must provide a valid piece of photo government ID.

AFTER CARE
Product recommendations:
Moisturizer: Aquaphor (tube), Non-Scented Lotion.
Washing: Dr. Bronners Unscented soap.
Irritation / Itch: Bactine.
Swelling: Advil, cold compress, elevation.
BANDAGE REMOVAL
& WASHING:
Plastic Wrap Bandage
Your artist will advise how long to keep on this bandage.✶ Wash hands before removing bandage. (Best removed before showering.)
✶ Gently cleanse the tattooed area with lukewarm water and an unscented soap.
✶ Wash and rinse the tattoo until it no longer feels slick or slimy.
✶ Be gentle. This process can be uncomfortable.- Pat with a fresh, clean towel.
✶ Apply a light layer of moisturizer, working into the skin.
✶ Continue to moisturize once or twice a day until your tattoo is no longer flaking.✸Wash your tattoo anytime you notice it weeping blood/plasma. (Will look wet.)
✸ Keep dry for at least 2 weeks
Your tattoo is not fully healed for at least 4 weeks.
Second Skin Bandage
✶ Leave on up to 7 days.
✶ If the bandage has been compromised, remove the bandage.
✶ Wash hands before removing the bandage. Best removal is done in the shower.
✶ Gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and unscented soap.
✶ Wash and rinse until it no longer feels slick or slimy.
✶ Pat with a fresh, clean towel.
✶ Apply a light layer of moisturizer, working into the skin.✶ Continue to moisturize once or twice a day until your tattoo is no longer flaking.✸Wash your tattoo anytime you notice it weeping blood/plasma. (Will look wet.)

Moisturizing:
⭑Always use a fragrance, alcohol and dye free lotion.✶ With clean hands, apply a thin layer of moisturizer.
✶ Moisturize at least once a day.
✶ Moisturize if the tattoo is itchy.
✶ Continue to moisturize at least until its no longer flaking.⭑Wounds heal best when they are as wet as an eyeball.
⭑ Moisturizing beyond the flaking stage will ensure your tattoo ages as best it can.
the following 2 week after your appointment:
✶ Your tattoo is a really expensive wound!✶ Tattoos take minimum 2 weeks, up to 4-6 weeks to fully heal. If your tattoo is flaky, it is not healed.✶ Do not soak your tattoo. (No swimming, baths, or saunas)✶ Keep out of direct sunlight.
Sunscreen should not be applied until tattoo is healed.✶ Do not exfoliate or shave the tattoo for at least 4 weeks.✶ Gently wash the tattoo if it is in contact with sweat, animals, dirt/debris.✶ Make sure your clothing & bedding are clean.✶ Avoid tight clothing that could rub against the tattoo.✶ Keep animals away from your tattoo until its fully healed.
Animals carry bacteria that can easily infect the tattoo.

Areas to take extra precautions with:
✷ Joints: Avoid full range of motions for at least 2 weeks. Wash off excess sweat accumulated.✷ Torso: Avoid movements that stretch the skin excessively for at least 3 weeks.✷ Legs: Due to circulation & pressure, leg tattoos can take longer & need to be moisturized more often. Elevate when possible.
CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IF YOU SUSPECT YOUR TATTOO IS INFECTED
Interventions for tattoos having a hard heal include, cleaning the tattoo regularly, anti-septic soaps, anti-septic ointments, keep away from animals (including animal by-products), ensure your clothing & bedding are clean.For allergic reactions: Epson Salt soaks/baths, oral / topical ant-histamines (There are different kinds.)** This is not substitute for professional medical advice **
